Jojo and Chell

Jojo and Chell first met in 1993  when they were still working in a stockbrokerage firm. As fate would have it, a beautiful friendship sprang from weekdays and weekends of working on market letters, with Jojo working on the analyses and Chell working as his assistant

 
An even more beautiful relationship developed with time...

Jojo and Chell announced their engagement on May 29, 1994. The Guerrero and Parducho families went to the bride's family for the traditional "Pamanhikan". Jojo's grandfathers Atty. Jose Guerrero and Atty. Meliton Parducho began the "Pamumulong" by asking for her parents' blessings for their engagement and eventual plans to marry.

Speaking on behalf of the whole family, Mr. Guillermo Silva gave his blessings and warmly accepted Jojo and his family into theirs.

And the date was set...
 

On June 18, 1994, Jojo and Chell were married in civil rites together with another very much in love couple Alan and Gail. Judge Rogelio Pizarro officiated the ceremony. The Guerrero patriarch, Lolo Peping, received the guests and well wishers in his home.

 
 
On the 30th of November, Jojo and Chell renewed their marital vows at the
San Agustin Parish, Intramuros, Manila.

After eight months of complete bed rest and countless episodes of threatened abortion and premature labor, the stork has finally arrived...

On April 15, 1995, Jojo and Chell's little angel came into this world. They named him George Mitchell and fondly called him Joboy.
 

 
Now, there were  more holidays to celebrate... more milestones to count...

Christmas became even more exciting with Joboy around. The house was in a jollier mood... with Christmas presents under the tree, and lights blinking like little stars...

As early as March, the Guerrero household was already bustling with activity in preparation for Joboy's first birthday. On April 15, 1996, a simple birthday party was held at Lolo Don's and Lola Rosie's which was attended by the Silvas as well.

 

On April 22, 1996, Joboy had another party at the BF Resort Clubhouse, this time with clowns, fun and games...

Time really flies fast... now,  at three years old, Joboy has started going to school. He is definitely enjoying his new friends and all the other activities they have in school. He learns new songs, poems and stories.

On August 24, 1998, Jojo and Chell were blessed with another child, a daughter this time. She was named Alyssa Georgine and lovingly called Jinji.

 

Jinji was baptized on September 27, 1998 at the Mary Mother of the Church Parish. Reception followed at the home of Lolo Don and Lola Rosie.

 

Christmas '98 was truly a feast! The celebration started on the 24th when the Parducho clan had their annual reunion and gift giving at Lolo Don's and Lola Rosie's.

 
 

 

Jojo, Chell, Joboy and Jinji spent the New Year with the Silva family.
